General usage information

Intel Parallel Studio includes front ends and libraries for various compilers, including

  • C
  • C++
  • Fortran

It also includes the Intel MPI libraries, the MKL libraries, and assorted debugging, profiling and tuning products.

NOTE on Intel MPI: By default, this module sets the environment so that mpirun works. If you wish to instead use Intel MPI with srun, you must set:

  • setenv I_MPI_PMI_LIBRARY \$SRUN_I_MPI_PMI_LIBRARY (for csh, or)
  • export I_MPI_PMI_LIBRARY="\$SRUN_I_MPI_PMI_LIBRARY" (for bash)
